This seems cool. I like the simple resolution of the core mechanic. However, can you explain how gadgets work mechanically in this game?
Side Note: I am hosting a superhero TTRPG game jam and I wanted to extend a personal invitation to join. I am allowing reposts of games, so if nothing else maybe the algorithm will give your game a few more views! Jam Link: https://itch.io/jam/summer-superhero-ttrpg-jam
Check out the details on the jam page, and let me know if you have any questions!
The gadget system is primarily an improv prompt that lets you describe a specific doohickey then later on use it as a means of addressing the enemy when they can make sense so it's very much up to the players to create things they think fit.
This was admittedly a sort of quick project for a friend I did a bit extra production on to release so I'm not too interested in using it for future jams but if anything else sentai inspired comes up we'd love to know!
