Kernel 1.5 Update


Kernel Update!

Not a big one by any means but a couple things getting fixed up. Most of these changes are designed to buff combat focused Rigs and make certain encounters quicker. 

  • Weapons Array and Double-Barrel no longer have such stringent Tier requirements for what targets they work on. Weapons Array now has two different effects to balance this, you can no longer remove multiple Hit Points from the same target with the multi-target effect however it now comes with a baked in extra Hit Point of damage on targets Tier 2 or lower. Weapons Array now can target any enemies the attack could hit, meaning the only drawback is needing to spend a die of 3 or 4, giving Strike a lot more value in this situation.
  • The type of Rig you select is now more consistently referred to as a "Rig Model" or just "Model"
  • New Periwinkle Upgrade "Pressure Circuit" This tier 2 upgrade allows you to increase a die by 1 after Repositioning. A small, affordable upgrade designed to strengthen the mixed mobility playstyle that Periwinkle supports.
  • The Machete Blade upgrade no longer lets you ignore Tricky Terrain from plants, instead you remove an Additional Hit Point from Plant Obstacles. Ignoring Tricky Terrain this way is now found on the Tier 4 upgrade "Counter Thorns" which also demotes plant obstacles to Tricky Terrain and lets you damage them just by charging through them.
  • Sheets provided are now proper pdfs, this will make them more agreeable when printing and allow in browser editting! 
  • New Character Sheet! Like all other sheets provided with the game it's available for all to download! This sheet primarily focuses on using space more efficiently, improving readability, visual flow, and of course looking cooler.
