EXOSKELETON
A downloadable book
Humans are on a different scale in the world of Kuemoon, a country at war with its own massive insects. Thanks to constant warfare between man and the towering forces of nature, evolution has driven the common bug to think tactically, and be ready for sacrifice.
Reins is just a girl living in a self-sustaining community. Everyone else expired when she was young, but the automated town trudges on, continuing to deliver food and watchable movies. But a twist of fate brings a skilled pilot looking for her one day to help with the conflict: She shares a name with her missing older sister. A sister she didn't know she had.
Exoskeleton is a graphic, ridiculous, and exciting sci-fi pulp novel that takes you through the experiences of several characters in the war with the insects. It is the second of the "Tales of the Insect Engine" but it's the best place to start! Both novels are self contained stories that introduce you to the world and its characters.
Consider checking out the prequel book: Metroparasite.
WARNING: This novel contains graphic depictions of violence, insects, invertebrates, arachnids, bodily disfigurement, and adult situations that may be uncomfortable to some.
This novel is intended to have the reading pace of an old paperback novel at ~83k words. The standard version of the pdf uses a side-to-side page spread, vertical will give you an entirely vertical scrolling experience.
